This #KCFilmConnect event is like no other before it. A unique, crowd sourced film challenge with our sister Gigabit city in Chattanooga, TN. Community, film makers, and tech coming together.

Friday night we will announce the theme and challenge EVERYONE to shoot up to five 30 second clips and upload them. Saturday 6 teams from 2 cities will edit and score 6 short films from YOUR footage. Sunday WE come back together to party and watch the short films and presentation of the Capture 2015 Best In Show Film Awards by Filmmaker Mark Covino (A Band Called Death).

In conjunction with KC Digital Drive, KC Film + Media office, Visit KC, The Missouri Film Office, ink, Association for Visual Arts, Middle of the Map, and the Extreme Screen.
